We catalyze the establishment and sustenance of self-help groups by providing them with maize, beans, sunflower seeds and fertilizer in credit bases where they pay during the harvests. 85% of members in those groups are women from low-income households. Direct beneficiaries are 3615 participants with an average of 6 household members. Indirectly, 15191 participants have been touched by this program. Only 6% interest is charged in the period of 6 months. Out of this 6% interest, 3% percent is paid to the group account for those who have completed repayment as a motivation. 400 Datoga women have benefited from the investment of 1 milling machine, a building with 3 rooms, which gives them another source of income through renting and also milling flour for the entire community. 50 groups with a total of 220 members have been empowered to access and benefit from government soft loans from different districts, in which a total of 300 million Tanzania shillings have been provided. 42 improved bulls were distributed to 512 households.
